Review : Snatch

affiche Blade Runner 2049, 2017

Released in 2000, Snatch is the movie who revealed to the public the director Guy Ritchie. Specialised in Crime and Gangster films, Ritchie offers to us a new “Pulp Fiction”. It stages Franky, a diamond’s thief, who falls in a trap of Vinny and Sol, two sharks looking for the jewels. But it belongs to the mafiosi Avi, determined to recover his precious goods. All is played around the box fight organised by Turkish and Tommy, if their boxer, the gypsy played by Brad Pitt, continues to never listen to anyone else, all it over …

Fun, crazy and panting, Snatch embarks us in the hectic life of little criminals who lash out to too strong. Like others gangsters movies, all doesn’t happen like expected, and this is what we want. The originality and the unexpected are very appreciate.

The introduction scene, thanks to the soundtrack and the assembly, is amazing. It makes this movie one of my favorite. I thought it was a suspenseful movie, we don’t know which characters will survive or will reach his goal, and it’s the interest of movies of this kind.

It is worth no one that the actors’s performances are remarkable, Brad Pitt is fantastic, the movie deserve to be watch in Original Version just for his role. Snatch is also the occasion to discover Jason Statham, because it’s one of his first movie in cinema, his character, Turkish, have an important role to play.

To conclude, if you love gangsters, crime and Tarantino’s movies, you will be fills. The story is unpredictable, that’s why Snatch worth our look..
